Glass Fiber PLA Filament for 3D Printing
JAMG HE-GF is a glass fiber-reinforced PLA filament, enhanced in both mechanical and aesthetic properties. Compared with regular PLA, PLA-GF outperforms in strength, stiffness, temperature resistance and dimensional stability, while being less prone to deformation and warping. Glass fiber imparts a smooth matte finish with micro-spot gloss, blurring layer lines. PLA-GF is ideal for both mechanical parts and decorations due to the inherited water resistance, wear resistance, durability and vibrant colors.
Description
The glass fiber reinforced pla filament has high impact resistance and good printability; Suitable for mechanical parts prototypes with requirements for rigidity and impact resistance; Wear-resistant performance makes PLA-GF suitable for printing gears and can be used as temporary functional parts.
Key Features
- High rigidity
- High impact resistance
- High wear resistance
- Excellent printability
Difference Between Glass Fiber PLA & Carbon Fiber PLA
PLA-GF (glass fiber reinforced PLA) and PLA-CF (carbon fiber reinforced PLA) both enhance PLA's mechanical properties, but PLA-CF offers higher stiffness and strength, while PLA-GF improves impact resistance and toughness. GF instead of CF does the opposite in most cases - material becomes less stiff and more impact resistant. Oftentimes heat resistance is raised a little bit - sometimes even by a lot. In PLA-CF this usually is just a few degrees. But the already stiff and brittle PLA becomes even stiffer
Exceptional Strength
Reinforced with 15% fiberglass on a PLA base, this filament offers outstanding rigidity and impact resistance, outperforming standard PLA.
Remarkable Flexibility
JAMGHE Glass Fiber PLA maintains high rigidity and minimal distortion during printing, ensuring precise results for demanding projects.
