Nozzle Size & Use Cases
The hotend is available with hardened steel nozzles in 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.8 mm sizes, giving users flexibility depending on their printing needs.
- 0.4 mm – the standard choice for a balance between detail and speed.
- 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm – ideal for larger parts or functional prints where faster flow and stronger layer bonding are required.
Material Compatibility
This hotend is designed to handle a wide range of materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, and PA. The hardened steel construction also makes it suitable for abrasive filaments containing carbon fibre, glass fibre, or metallic additives, reducing wear and extending nozzle life.
Performance & Efficiency
With a maximum printing temperature of up to 320 °C, the A1 Series hotend is capable of handling both standard and high-performance filaments. Despite its robust construction, the compact 47.3 mm length and lightweight design help maintain smooth motion and consistent extrusion performance.
