Creality SPARKX i8 Launched
Introduction
Creality has launched the SPARKX i8, a new multicolor 3D printer designed to make multi color printing faster and more efficient. The printer combines high speed printing with Creality’s new QuarTeks technology, focusing on faster color changes and reduced filament waste.
Four-Color 3D Printing
The SPARKX i8 supports four-color printing, allowing users to create models with multiple colors without being dependent on separate printing processes. Its color-changing system is designed to keep transitions quick while maintaining a compact filament path.
According to Creality, the system can switch colors in less than one second and uses a shared filament path of less than 1 mm. This helps reduce the amount of filament normally lost during color changes.
Fast Printing Performance
The SPARKX i8 is built for high speed printing, with a maximum print speed of up to 500 mm/s. This makes it suitable for users who want to produce multicolor models without significantly increasing printing time.
The printer has a build volume of 260 × 260 × 255 mm, giving enough space for a wide range of functional parts, prototypes, models and creative projects.
Less Filament Waste
One of the main features of the SPARKX i8 is its approach to multicolor printing waste. Traditional color-changing systems can use a considerable amount of filament during purging. Creality’s QuarTeks system is designed to minimise this waste, making multicolor printing more efficient.
For users who regularly print models with multiple colors, reducing purge material can also make long-term filament usage more manageable.
Designed for Easier Printing
The SPARKX i8 also includes several automated features aimed at making the printing process easier. It features 81-point automatic leveling, intelligent sensors and a 720p AI vision camera for monitoring prints.
The printer supports a maximum hotend temperature of 300°C, allowing it to work with a range of commonly used 3D printing materials.
